I love the EXPLORE tab on Primal!

Currently my favourite way to browse is:

Tribe -> latest

Global -> zapped

It makes sense to me to use chrono order for the few hundred that I follow or follow me, just as you would on a any group chat. But for the global conversation you need a way to filter by popularity, relevance... "zapped" is the most honest signal.

What about self-zapping? (sending zaps to your own notes, to increase in popularity)

That's not very honest and has a low cost.

Energy on Bitcoin mining is spent. Maybe zaps should burn BTC or at least make sure that all of the zaps received are donated to someone else periodically.
