Yea I was working with emojis the other day and was tryna detect if a string had 1 character. But when you enter an emoji like this π¨βπ©βπ¦βπ¦ it counts it as 4 characters in swift. I was so confused lol had no idea

I never thought it would be so hard to get the first full emoji from a byte array.. π³
I was trying to get this shit done in Kotlin as well. I wanted to display first letter of a string as icon in the avatar, andI wanted to use emoji for that.
Parsing an emoji from string was impossible task for me in Kotlin.
