Streaming services been pissing me off as of late.

Going back to the good ol’ days of downloading any movie or tv show I want 🤙

Setup a Jellyfin server to surface the content, works great!

Is there any guide for jellyfin?

Do you have a specified server for this purpose? If so what are the specs?

Specs are pretty bad rn lol it’s an old server I had lying around 4 core i5-45XX, 8 GB ram, 1TB SSD for OS/VMs and 240GB SSD for media.

Will upgrade hardware a bit when I start running into more issues. Works fine for streaming 1080p content.

Have you tried transcoding with it?

I haven’t messed with the transcoding default settings on the server. Not sure how to tell if videos being streamed are being transcoded or not?

Haven’t had buffering issues yet, watched a couple movies and tv show episodes.
