I want it. Can't wait to see what taproot assets gonna be used for, and since they're digital badges essentially, it makes sense to be on a social layer. You and me are going to the Riga Nostr Party, right? Why not issue a badge on taproot assets and we can display it on our profiles? Isn't that what it's all about, digital bragging rights?

Nostr already has badges, brother. They've been around since February. For example, if you attended Nostrica, you got a badge. No Shitcoins needed.

I know, those are the badges I was referring to. From what I understand, instead of going to a site and issuing one, taproot assets will be transferrable over lightning. Meaning I can actually "send" you a badge. Plus all the programming options that opens up, for example OG nostrica badge owners might get a discount on buying the next ticket.
Yiu could build a ticketing system to check if an npub has a badge and apply the pricing without this other system.
Yes, one could. Also, the security issue. Those badge sites required an nsec, the login with plugin didn't work. That's a perfect way to honeypot everyone. There are many issues.
