Yesterday the YT algo got me and I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on scrolling shorts. I can see how this is harmful to the intellect of the younger generation. I felt Zombified until I snapped out.

I feel you. Honestly even LinkedIn or Noster makes me feel that way, it is just a little harder to get sucked in.

Hell, I think I'll take this opportunity to unsub from Quora.

Agreed! Though at least on nostr my client is poised to glitch at one point throughout the day which usually snaps me out of shit-posting or doom scrolling.
