BTC question... does anyone have any idea or an example of :

what data a BTC node sends to the network when a block is found ?

I want to test and see if i can setup the BitSatRelay to route any node traffic to the BTC network. I can download my database/blocks/node sync via nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n satellite download service and i can relay data out from my nostr:npub14uee3fwxjwq7m25gsyqguv2t6v8ft69jax4lvs3skfpa8u7thdsqpu7gam .. as i cant have a "open" outgoing connection being in "off grid mode" I need to send a burst of data out as and when node says block found - on order to propagate it. ( ok wishful thinking to find a block but none the less i want to built the tech to exist as my fall back SHTF) Any tips or insight is welcome

The smallest useful thing you can broadcast is the latest block hash. The second most useful thing is the latest block template (see sparse pool by nostr:nprofile1qqs2n7lm5p2ghxtchy9er5nqk32lyucflru544xcdsrnwarus2wvhtgppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctcw5924l). These things can be obtained for free from block stream because it's a one way broadcast of data that everyone cares about.

Traffic from miners is different from traffic from Netflix, because the miners have very little traffic, but the traffic that they do have is very valuable on a per Byte basis.

Your two way link is especially interesting for miners who want to get their nonces to a pool ASAP. These miners already have a block template from spares pool or from block stream, but they need transportat to get their nonces out reliably. Depending on the energy source, they may not have an economically viable uplink, unless if they pay per Byte to use your satellite dish..

thanks mate... my setup has the node locally so all the "heavy traffic miner to node" is done on site. need to dig a bit deeper but now i am entering coder territory, that's outside my skill level . if anyone wants to send me a "payload" file to test across the satellite relay then hit me up.
