I never quite got into twitter. I haven’t felt like there was a social media platform that I wanted to engage with. Finally, I’ve found nostr. Now, I know that social media is but the first of many use-cases that this protocol will provide (there are unknown unknowns that we can’t currently fathom). But, already, it just feels right. I’m excited to watch nostr grow, to see what this incredible community builds, and to be a part of what I think may be a very important moment in time. Like nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft says, us bitcoiners have been equating ‘bitcoin’ with ‘freedom’, but freedom may well have more than one face—perhaps bitcoin is one ‘side’ of freedom, and nostr is another—maybe there are more. All I know is that bitcoin has had be captivated, every day, since the moment it clicked for me, and now nostr seems to have the same hold on me. I’m going to allow myself to enjoy that exciting (but frustrating) experience of simultaneous awe, reverie, and ineffability. Let’s see what happens next 💜🧡
