Actually, it really saddens me, but the media has convinced people that war is good. "War is peace" from 1984 basically. "Peace through strength" or whatever they call it.
This happened in WW1, exactly the same way. There was an arms race propped by the media... Nobody had any idea of what war really was. They had a completely different image.
And then WW1 happens, they're in the trenches and the sentiment changes.
Fast forward, traumatized people (like Hitler and friends) from WW1, cause WW2.
People have no philosophy or knowledge of history.
There is no meaningful opposition to war in the west, and if there was, they would censor the living shit out of it and prosecute everyone under some dystopian misinformation/hatespeech legislation.
Or they would just give you the good old fashioned truncheon over the head.
