At least with a shitcoin it's your own stupidity. With the $ it's someone elses malice.
So I think I agree with you.
I'd rather make mistakes and try to do better than be trapped in someone elses nightmare.
Why? Shitcoins are fiat on steroids
1) The dollar is much more evil than shitcoins. It's powered by violence and will likely depreciate faster than shitcoins during bull markets. 2) You can convert the shitcoin to BTC easier with less KYC than you could a dollar bill.
Dollar: only the responsible entity can create unlimited amount of money (fiat)
Crypto: everybody can create unlimited amount of money (fiat on steroids)
Bitcoin: nobody can create unlimited amount of money.
I see that the dollar and all other fiat will inevitably go to zero against #bitcoin, but I don't see much use for crypto tokens either. Maybe they could be useful for temporary use cases like concert/plane/train tickets etc. Use cases where they don't need to hodl value for long time.
