the halvening needs to happen at 6:09 (AM or PM) in some country. Think of the memes, it'd be 4/20 at 6:09
Turns out it happened, it was 6:09 am somewhere because it was at 00:09:32 UTC, so somewhere it was 6:09 am, we got the halving at 69 420
