Mastering lightning definitely corrected my misunderstandings around lightning.

like they say in the book lightning is just a more efficient or smarter way of spending bitcoin. they even hesitate to use the phrase layer 2 in the book.

Of course, Andreas Antonopoulos for the explanation. He's been my go-to source, at times.

Yet same don't support, or even hate him, because of his regard of ETH.

i've been running a lightning node for a handful of months now and didn't even fully understand how it worked under the hood. i'm really glad i sat down with that book. i'm currently about 3/4 of the way through it and it drastically changed my understanding.

6 hours into listening to this and I'm fried on absorbing anything more for a few... I'm wondering at what point I'll be satisfied with the bitcoin knowledge I have, and move on with my life, 😂.

Hell yeah thats a great book! I had to get a physical copy for that one. At a certain level of information density I need to get a physical copy because I wont retain the information via audio.
