I tried to zap through this invoice but it didn't work. I tried again to zap a note, but same error.
I think you should put a static lightning network address.. maybe try with LNtipbot telegram (i linked it with zeus and it's super fast) or try Wallet of Satoshi.

Pheonix does not support zaps. Lightning address or LNURL and supported by Wallet of Satoshi or Alby… You can use your own node and host a lightning address otherwise

you don’t host on the node if that’s your question. You need a ln node plus hosting ln address that’s linked to your node… this won’t give you 100% comparability since you would need to implement zaps into your setup but should allow you to receive zaps
So I guess Damus is doing validation and Iris isn’t. Either way the error messages need or be improved. UX is hard.
You put in a normal bolt11 invoice which only works once, for zapping you need a lightning address with zap support (looks like a email address). Wallet of satoshi supports this for example

Thanks #[3]! Let’s work on the UX around setting LN urls for zaps. I think it just needs both example of what the right format is and some detecting of other incorrect things people might put in there.

Yep. That’s what worked. Rabblerabble@ln.tips and the link from there worked in damus. I was able to send some satoshi from my cash.app and I’ve gotten a couple zaps from nostrs.
