I don't have have an in depth knowledge about the whole bitcoin process, however I know of a few restaurants that are open about how credit card companies gouge their profits. I'm sure they could be convinced to accept bitcoin/LN, just unsure how to explain it concisely. Any tips?

I think it’s potentially an easier way to get bitcoin into peoples’ hands than suggesting they buy it. Receive some for being a repeat customer, and then they can spend it anywhere, including at the original business, but it gets them a better discount.
