Recently, I’ve been using them to buy gift cards using Bitcoin. You can use other cryptocurrencies as well. No account is required but the option to create an account is available. It’s very easy to use. The first time I tried it I didn’t use a Bitrefill account. It worked. After that, I downloaded the app and made many purchases of gift cards using Bitcoin.
Many wallets can be used to connect to Bitrefill. I didn’t have any issues. I made purchases using Bitcoin on-chain and lightning. Both ways work. I’ve now tried Bitrefill in two countries. Bitrefill was part of the research (unbeknownst to them). Many things were tried and tested. The directions and redemption process for the gift cards were clear. (Please read all instructions clearly before making a purchase. There are some restrictions and limitations for some gift cards,) During this entire time, I only encountered two issues. I contacted customer service and the responses were fast. Both issues were resolved and quickly rectified. The second issue was rectified this morning after contacting them yesterday. Bravo! 👏
Other than those two issues, everything else worked perfectly. Bitrefill does have limits to the number of gift cards purchased in a day and purchase amounts. I’ve never gone over the limits. The limits aren’t unreasonable.

If you’re a merchant, consider listing a gift card on Bitrefill. If you want to live on a Bitcoin standard, using Bitrefill is one way to bypass directly using fiat for purchases.
