So the “cake mix” / liver mix needs to be like runny cake batter to form this thin blini .. I didn’t take a photo of when it was perfect, but I did take a photo just before it got good.

If the batter is not doing what you need it to do you can add more milk or more eggs - it won’t harm anything.

From my experience the 1st two blini cakes are always a mess up batch 🤷‍♀️ getting the pan temp just right I guess. So if the 1st two pancakes don’t work out don’t get stressed because the 3rd is usually where the magic happens and the rest are good from there.
