Media, and especially Hollywood, are adept at shaping hero narratives for global influence. And they are very good at it. Black Hawk Down won 2 Oscars, but they failed to disclose that the heroes who rescued the US hostages were armies from two other 3rd world countries who stepped in to help the US (Battle of Mogadishu '93). They were never recognized by the US for 20 years. And the movie completely wiped out history and narrated its own hero version. Just wild
