This! This right here is what made LN a pain to use! But now it's gonna be so much easier!
I always complained the LN in the future would be a pain because companies would on chain batch payments to their employees and then you would need to keep opening channels to pay for food, utilities etc etc.
But with splicing you can just batch the payments in to existing channels! Everything becomes a breeze to manage!
Employer pays on chain and you can script a batching to many for them and have your bill channels instantly filled.
Or you can batch it yourself into multiple channels, decreasing fees and pain!
This solve the problem LN has with channels that only flow 1 way.

I was bearish on LN because of recurring bills being a pain, since channels that only move one way are a pain and become useless unless you can front a bunch.
But this is the solution for that problem.
