Sure, but rejecting invalid blocks is a audit too in my opinion. That happens probably every nanosecond.

No one is submitting invalid blocks that are being rejected every nanosecond. Miners are trying to find a valid hash billions of times per second, but they are not submitting any of the invalid ones to the network to reject them.
