I can relate to many of what you just said.
However, having a convenient, secure and feature rich set of clients, in my opinion, is the first step. Having fun is very important.
People ususally associate web3/decentralization/whatever hype words with low quality useless strange projects for hackers and geeks and weirdos. Even myself don't understand like 99.99% of the projects in this space. Usually when somebody told me about a "web3" project, my first impression is like "WTF, who will be stupid enough to even want this?"
We should change that image.
Nostr is like the first "web3" project in which I see values immediately. First, we should create several goddamn good social clients that are better than Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp.
At this point, normal people outside the bitcoin or crypto space will start to use them, without buying into the idea of crypto-currency or things at the beginning.
