People the world doesn't need removing themselves from the equation?
I think im comfy not knowing what this is.
It is a reference to John Gault from the book Atlas Shrugged. Together with Fountainhead, they are masterpieces from Ayn Rand, a Russian expat in US who wrote about something that became known as objectivism. It is a fancy name for extreme selfish individualism. She argues that men trying to be better than their former self drive the world forward by inspiring lesser men while society wants to pull the best of us down to the level of mediocrity. In the book, John Gault warns that the average men will win and disappears. When the industrialists stop seeking fortune the world’s infrastructure collapses and people start looking for John Gault to save them. Hence the book’s motto Where’s John Gault.
If you’re on nostr you likely know it in spirit.
It’s a reference to Ayn Rand‘s novel „Atlas Shrugged“. Can really recommend reading it, it’s long but has a great story and its meaning is deep. Also a lot of parallels to today’s 🤡 🌍
And those that don’t won’t…prolly ever🤔🌅
