More control doesn’t always equal to optimization. Otherwise Communist countries are the most optimal countries in the world. LoL

Didn’t talked about control!

I talked about the 1:1 relation between hardware and software.

When you build software for multiple hardware stacks you always have lot of trade offs when it comes to performance.

Android or Windows are the best examples for this.

“Software and hardware off one hand” is control, unless I missed something? Centralization = control, that’s how it works out.

Decentralization is a new thing, I am not saying it is the answer for everything but it shall have its merits. Something may be better to stay centralized while something should be decentralized. Where to draw the line? I don’t know. Should we stop trying new things because someone is a fan of “Apple Idea”? I don’t think so. I was an Apple fan as well, not anymore. PV

Did you read my answer? Doesn't sound like that!

I get your point of trade offs. I am talking about control. Did you get that?

Yeah but who has control over a open source hardware with a open source?

Do the same thing apple is doing all the time but completely open source.

I don’t see a problem with that 🤔

Great I didn’t know iPhone is open source, learnt something today. Now I am going to install linux on my iPhone. Tell me where can I get the bootloader.

Okay, you are trying to fool my! Good bye 👋🏻

???

I never said that iPhone or apple is open source!!!

I said we need a product in which both software and hardware are open source so that the software can be fully optimized.

Don’t know why you are always talking about apple or iPhone? It was just the example for the integration 🙃

OK bro I misunderstood. PV
