A very wise and successful person once told me to try to be the last to speak. Listen to all the perspectives in the room, take a moment to digest and process the information, and then speak. I don't do it all the time, mainly because I don't have patience for 🐂💩. However I do it enough 5hat I saw the impact in the respect I get in planning meetings, plus often the last concept sticks! 😁

It’s great advice. When doing that I’ve found that people listen closer to what I have to say. Probably because if I’m quiet most of the time then when I do say something they assume it’s thoughtful. Which isn’t always the case, but fine if they think it is. lol
