I know a guy with a lightning ⚡️ routing node and he says he gets payments in msats all the time on small transactions
So it’s already a thing in lightning

And when I clicked on the tx in my wallet it said I sent 2,000 msats
Yes. I get them from routing, but they are not transactable outside of nodes yet. The fact that your wallet said 2K msats is just the position decimal place. You wouldn’t have received a payment of less than 1000 msats or 1 sat.
