Was hoping to make a trip out to Howell Island (an island/nature reserve nestled along the Missouri River) this week.
Got absolutely borked by the Army Corps who destroyed the causeway, now there’s no way to get to the island without a boat…
One of the most beautiful little secrets of Missouri, an island untouched by man. Time to get a boat.
