Why don’t governments want to improve? Get more efficient etc.?

Would’ve been so easy and cost almost nothing, they can even go more into debt for it because it’ll save money for generations going forward.

Like to hire designers, architects, big data engineers, ai engineers etc, find all these teams like VC funds do or better because government doesn’t need money to run, they can print or get it from elsewhere.

The bottom of it is that governments just don’t want to change and will resist any improvements.

Why? I think because a lot, really a lot of people will get out of jobs and with their accountant and law etc. knowledge - won’t be able to find any new job.

I think because of that people like us are in a big disadvantage because governments optimize for the majority of people like these and just silence, restrict or ignore the rest who want to move forward.

If I were to loose a job, I’d have no issue to continue to provide value to others and get paid to sustain my lifestyle.

I wish I’ll live long enough for us to have a place where we can govern it to the best of our knowledge and continuously change it towards best.

Now people can travel, government can’t really work for all the people coming to their land from all the countries.

If there is a place only similar minded people can travel to and have a territory to themselves, it can be the best and biggest center for the innovation, quality of live etc in the whole world by far. Economic metrics wouldn’t make sense at that point.

I’ve immigrated to Portugal, why do I have to inherit all the culture, language, laws etc? I think in the future it may not make as much sense to have people living by countries just because it was historically correct to do so.

Right now every 10th or more person in Lisbon is immigrant. Most people speak english here now. This is becoming more than a city of a county, some kind of international hub. And this is happening all over the world…
