I have a fairly large (~180 channels) LND node running, and was suffering from increased CPU load after it was running for a week of two. This resulting in severe lag and ultimately force-closes of channels.

After some discussion, I was recommended to disable `sync-freelist`. This seems to have improved the situation quite a bit!
