Instead of the Trump Administration’s plan to spend $1 trillion on defense, using that money to help create American factories and factory jobs would be better for Americans. Because of the on/off uncertainty of the Trump Administration’s economic policies American companies are not committing to bringing jobs back to the US at this time. A better option may be a more well thought out targeted tariff policy plus government funding to incentivize building factories, like from the Biden Administration’s CHIPS Act, to create more jobs in the United States. 🇺🇸
