my natural reaction to something i like is to click like.
but when something resonates, i make a deliberate effort to boost. there is no place in my mind for boosts. it is most definitely not my first natural impulse. but this is how word gets around on Fedi.
hitting like rewards the person. boosting gets the word around. i'd rather have a boost than a like.
