(I just ran Malwarebytes and almost everything it brought up was an ASC program file! Jealous much??)

I've always recommended comodo antivirus, ignore the initial nag about getting the full package at a price, it is the full package. If you want more security get comodo internet security. If you haven't heard of them before and feel a little uneasy about the recommendation, do some research and comparisons, they come pretty high up in the league tables. I've used them for nearly 20 years.
