Do people outside of Bitcoin culture know what fiat means?

I didn’t really until Nostr. As I’m updating my 501c3 website to include accepting Bitcoin, I’m a little hesitant to lose the contributions of fiat.

Like if I write donate fiat, I feel our donors will be like “???” 🙃
