I do appreciate this observation though; sooth indeed -- I think that's why it's important to 'remind'/'boost' the part of the 'signal' that says this is beyond politics and divisions---this is freedom---whatever the artists might paint; let them paint, and may the latitude of choice be of myriad hue...

To gain more traction at some point we need to move beyond the white male libertarian. For now however were are stuck with those whose bitcoin as a technology rather than a necessity. When we see a Lebanese mother or a young Venezuelan teenager doing the saylor speeches then we will be further along the mass adoption era.
I hope we skip over needing the Lebanese mother or young Venezuelan teenager to do the Saylor speeches. I hope they arrive simply by using Bitcoin and experiencing the benefits.
We've won when Bitcoin becomes super boring.

The willingness and the ability to separate the signal (e.g. those truths that are currently championed almost exclusively by maxis) from the noise (the tribal beliefs that frequently accompany) is one of the hallmarks of a mind that is NOT encumbered by tribalism. Conversely: the rejection of an idea bc you don’t like the messenger or the messenger’s tribe (Trump derangement syndrome, name-your-poison derangement syndrome) is one of the hallmarks of tribalism.
If you seek truth, you must accept that the message ultimately is independent of, and more important than, the messenger.
But if your need to belong (an understandable need, to be sure!) is more vital than your search for truth … it’s the other way around: agree with the messenger if it’s your tribe, and truth doesn’t matter. (Heck, comfort yourself the the thought that “objective reality dOeSnTrEaLlYeXiSt” or “everything is a social construct” or whatevs 🤪)
