Are you using the default lightning service in BlueWallet?

Using the app the way I’ve done it before. Clicking on ⚡️ in Damus suggests a bunch of wallets, I choose BlueWallet, it opens the app, confirms I want to use the LN-ID in the clipboard, prefills the amount and then lets me accepts. This took maybe 20-30 seconds. Zapping on stacker.news takes less than a second in comparison :P stacker.news-like zapping is where I want to be.

I think to get to that point Damus would need it’s own custodial in-app wallet. That’s what stacker news does right? But there are a couple of settings changes that speed the process up by eliminating steps:

• In iOS settings go to BlueWallet and change “Paste from Other Apps” to “Allow”

• Inside the Damus app open the side menu and go to Settings, set your default wallet, and turn off the wallet selector.

Agree current UX leaves to be desired. In app wallet is a feature request on Damus. User story: https://github.com/damus-io/damus/issues/627#issuecomment-1435746502

Thanks for these. Amazing

💜🤙

So much fucking faster. You’re a legend.

BlueWallet is not a good lightning wallet. If you’re going with a custodial solution for zaps use Wallet of Satoshi

You’re right WoS was noticeably faster. But it still had to launch another app.

I just find out that after stucked with blue wallet for 1 week
