Hi nostr, we are calling it a day. My husband started work on the chicken coop, after we decided to install a proper metal roof and expand it. He dry fitted the metal panels to check the fit, and it looks like it will work. The frame itself is basically a metal dog kennel, and i plan to cover the walls with cedar wood planks for extra protection. The bobcat encounter prompted us to get on this project asap. Dont want to lose any more chickens. As far as the rabbits, we're basically starting over with a new set of breeders, after our old ones were taken by the bobcat. Anyway, we made some progress. Thanks, these kennels have removable half panels near the bottom, which are perfect for replacing with an automatic chicken door.
