I've relied entirely on WoS custodial wallet up until this point, but I've stacked long enough that it's becoming terrifying. It no longer feels safe to keep everything there so I need suggestions of what I should do to secure my stack

Send all but zapping funds to your own wallet. Only use wos for small amounts.
Cold card is the best hardware wallet. But any non custodial wallet is probably an upgrade for you right now. Muun or green are quick options.

Send most of it on-chain to cold storage. And run a node.
Buy a Coldcard.
Blockstream Jade is a simple and inexpensive signing device. Get sparrow on a desktop or laptop and download bitcoin core to sync with Sparrow.
Muun wallet?
Muun is self-custodial, yes. But I don’t recommend to keep all your stack on it. Just a small amount for transactions via Lightning network. And also if you want to make it even more self-custodial, then turn off turbo channels.
But yeah, I personally love muun for simplicity. It also cannot go down like WoS right now.
Muun wallet is good advice as it is self-custodial (although it uses a different back up and restore method from the BIP 39 words that you may already know. TBF, if you are worried about having your stack in a hot wallet, then I strongly recommend getting a hardware wallet, and learning how to use it with small amounts first. Trezor and Ledger both decent for your first (there are more hard core options, but look at those later!). A Trezor will be very good opsec for the vast majority of hodlers and using one will dramatically increase your security. Keep small amounts in your WOS for zapping!
This is what you want lil bro, can use your sats for purchase also. https://lightning.store/product/blockstream-jade-hardware-wallet/
