"Bitcoiners" like Stacy Herbert defending Bukele 😂.

Government rights can never be above private property rights, the moment this happens, it is no longer called democracy, it is called communism or fascism.

Get it into your heads that just because someone fills their mouth with bitcoin doesn't mean anything. Most people give in to corruption and are trash that only serve the interests of whoever is in charge, with 0 critical thinking, likewise most Bitcoiners are just polyvaccinated morons.

All politicians suck, including Bukele, Milei and Trump, sooner than later they will let you down and betray you, if a Bitcoiner supports any kind of current democracy or any politician you better punch him in the face and forget about him because he is just another phony.

I don't try to make excuses for any political vampire, but supporting the lesser evil against the greater is something every social primate species does.

Lesser evil? Bukele has used Bitcoin as nothing more than propaganda.

They have a serious economic problem and it is only going to get worse with their policies.

The only thing I can think of here is very long term vision of breaking and crushing the dam eventually. Things have to start somewhere..this could also fill into art of war tactics...you have to let the Trojan Horse in. Best part is #bitcoin doesn't care. Not defending Max and his wife here but I see element of long term game theory playing out here, doesn't matter if they planned it or not. Same would apply to situation if Trump decides to play with Bitcoin.

Even in a very very unlikely situation this isn't what it looks like on surface, you just don't do stuff like this if you're economically literate and want people to come to invest in your country.

Am I surprised? No. Disapointed? Yes. But it's good to see the red flags sooner rather than later.

And Max? He's doing well, clowning around, good for him. But who would ever trust this guy really?

The only option is to create a parallel economy to the state, unfortunately Bitcoiners do not realize the importance of this.

Bitcoin is only 33% of the recipe for success.

- 33% Parallel/circular economy

This is exactly right, and has been for thousands of years.

The only reason that politicians survive is because they promise attractive things to people who don't want to be responsible for their own, which unfortunately are the majority, because the human race sucks.

But hey, there has always been gold, that rulers could not print for a very long time. And yet, there were rulers, as well as empires. Bitcoin is just another technology. Perhaps better, but just a technology. There will still be rulers for a very long time. More than that, for quite a long time they will still have to trick the naive ones into believing that they are elected democratically. Like Putin has successfully done for decades already.
