Replace "Tao" here with "the fear of the LORD" or "the law of the LORD" or even "the LORD" and Christians know that this sounds a lot like something you read in the book of Psalms or Proverbs.

Taoism and Christianity are very close...

I just read a book called "Christ the Eternal Tao" which says that Jesus Christ is the Tao/Way/Logos that Lao Tzu was apprehending as best he could without divine revelation.

Ha, I have that book right here...

i'm obviously gonna need to get me a copy too

Mixed thoughts on it. I love the basic assertion. It includes some dogma that I don't think stand scrutiny. The standard stuff protestants correctly point out. Some maryology being the most ludicrous. But its a good book, with a fascinating history. The Chinese artists employed all converted after it was explained to them.

Absolutely, and also we can replace Tao with Jung's Individuation and it's also the same :)
