Okay, I think I may have found a mildly funny glitch here. I don't if this is client-specific or not, but on Amethyst if you navigate to your own profile and click "Follow", you can actually follow yourself and it counts on your follower count. Anybody else able to do this on other clients?

If you are following yourself, does that mean your conscience caused you to follow your conscience? Or is it just an act of self-love or validation? It's good that technology allows us to do this. Constantly validating ourselves is hard work, and we all know no one can love and validate us quite like we do.
