The tech was lost. Radiation is worse now, wasn’t a thing bad then. Global warming won’t let us go back. Rockets. Low space orbit is still space.

I used to be a NPC but then I decided to watch all the footage available and saw the 3 hr documentary “the funny thing that happened on the way to the moon”. Pretty much convinced me ever since we been hoodwinked about the Apollo missions.
