People who pathologize others by making incorrect assumptions about them when you have the ability to ask them questions instead, why not try to understand them before making your assumptions ?

Why do you asume that those people are really up to understanding others and not trying to "win" an argument for the sake of their status/ego/small dick complex?
I think that when you have two people that want to understand new info that is in conflict with what they currently think is right, you don't have those problems but I might be wrong I guess
People are lazy and want to believe that they are right.
It takes humility and intellectual honesty to concede that we know a lot less than we’d like to admit.
