Is there an easy tool to author arbitrary events?

I offer $100 for implementing https://github.com/fiatjaf/nak/issues/10 and https://github.com/fiatjaf/nak/issues/11

I can do that eventually, but have you tried the CLI?

No strudel has a link to one thing in the tools section that does this

nak event is super useful though if you’re comfortable with the command line

is nak a nostr cli tool? If so, please do link it. noscl is very limited and I have been trying to find a tool to just specify a filter and search relays for them - i.e. to determine of a kind number has been used or not, or just to grab the raw data of an event by filters rather than IDs (i.e. my own kind 0).

Exactly what I needed. Thanks!!

Nak is the best thing invented since jq and boobs in that order

I know what boobs are. Nak and jq must be pretty awesome.

I installed it but haven't used it much. I usually end up running the libraries in the browser's dev console instead.

I want the two feature requests resolved to not have to pass my keys through the clipboard via the shell and stuff.
