On this note, do you aggregate events? And do you cut storage to ~6mth?
I noticed a falloff in completeness around 6mth... Possibly my queries.

I get some egui crash on macos debug build latest master when trying to navigate to any view
we don't recommend running debug build for this reason... i think this change will break scrolling (see the comment you removed)
