Universal sound for a message on Nostr would be cool. Even for a zap . But its so decentralized would be hard for all the clients to follow

The first thing that I always turn off - notification sounds. And I'm saying this as someone who dedicated his life to sound(design).

Haha true. Also, it seems that most modern apps just use the default notification sound, unless the user specifically specifics something

I thought of this too. I was thinking it was cool when I was younger and new to it but my phone as I have gotten older has been more on silent or modes where only important things make notification sounds.

Yeah it’s almost bad etiquette to have sounds on these days.

Those people who keep the keyboard click sound enabled are essentially psychopaths 😂

I only enable that sound if there is no haptic feedback. But I like loud clickety-clackety IBM Model M style keyboards so 🤪
