I'm not pro-Trump, but this trial and conviction is nothing more than politically motivated hit job, kangaroo court style.

I've long since had the view that equality under the law is not reality, and this further proves the point that if you are hated by those in power, they will use whatever means they have to punish you.

Ultimately, I think this will result in Trump losing in 2024 to Biden. But, it will back fire in the long term resulting in further growth and strength of the populist right wing movement in the USA, perhaps even the rise of a Caesar like figure who beats the left at their own game and consolidates federal power in a way not seen since FDR.
