Yea and he caught a lot of shit for being dumb about it. The guy holds grudges intensely
Tesla still holds BTC. Until that changes I don’t see him playing too many games.
The DOGE coin thing couldn’t be more obvious though. He can have fun running that shitcoin during the bull.
It will ultimately hurt 100% of investors but he’ll he long gone by then.
He craves drama. Probably addicted to it. The bitcoin twitter crowd is the easiest to trigger. He’ll go all in on Doggy coin or BCash just for the kicks… which doesn’t concern me. The question is whether or not he can drag Trump along with him
Whatever he does, it will be GOOD for Bitcoin in the end. Even if he (and others) can’t see it.
We don’t need the politicians and hyper-billionaires to push/save/rescue Bitcoin. Its has a plan of its own.

Let’s say he convinces Trump that BCash is the real Bitcoin, because he wants to be the second coming of Bitcoin Jesus. He could set things back a decade. I would prefer that doesn’t happen

Before we “win”. We will have to have the conviction and courage (and selfLESSness) to hold our UTXOs self sovereignly at threat of being worth zero.
Many will cave and take the payout. (Think Matrix)
Winning, by the way, isn’t you or me being individually “rich”. It’s all 8bn of us being “wealthy”. Due to a new system that delivers humanity to a new epoch.

Possible hard fork somewhere down the line, related to scalability (or lack thereof) and ossification.
Many newer large hodlers (especially western govts) will want to take steps to assure BTC doesn’t become new MoE and exit ramp for humanity away from nation state control. In other words, they want to restrict its value proposition to that of pristine collateral ONLY. Like gold. To bail out their debts.
Those that can’t see beyond a fiat/old system lens will comply. Out of fear. Because by 2028-30 the global economic and geo political landscape will be much more dire than even now.
Game theory tells me this is plausible if not likely at some point.
But doesn’t have to be. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that….🙏🏻😌

Doubt it. However, I’ve never understood why people expect the guy who has accumulated more fiat money than anybody else on earth to be their Bitcoin hero.
