Limestone and dolostone mountain ranges can still have pretty crystals but they might not quartz! Here a layer of yellow calcite (pure CaC03) can be seen, calcite can be a whole rainbow of colors depending on trace minerals present when it was formed. #CanadianRockies #Photography
