I have no issues with LND. Then again, with an HDD whenever there’s new blocks that core synced and LND will want to sync, I’m guessing the HDD is rushing to try and keep up. And this happens roughly every 10 minutes

When you click on LND, is it synced to graph and just timing out, or it’s trying to keep up? And same with core ? Just timed out or trying to sync ?

Plug in an external one to the laptop and you could be good to go. As long as the laptop meets the minimum requirements for start9/core, you shouldn’t have issues
