Breakfast was a walk up to the blackberries for a handful or two.

Then a walk to one of the laying boxes to grab some eggs. 🍳 heated some water for coffee, and cooked the eggs with oregano, thyme, collards, and onion from the garden, some bacon fat was involved.

sitting listening to the sound of the stream, and a dove cooing somewhere close by.

Drinking the coffee and thinking about the long list of things I need to tackle….
