Yes, actually. My signer forwarded me to them, last test account I made. But it couldn't find me. Maybe stale relay list.

hmm interesting, never had that happen personally, maybe the test account you made didn't send the kind 0 to any of their relays? or something like that

I didn't have a kind 0. Just an nsec from the signer. I had to go someplace else, to publish a kind 0, 10002, and a few 1s, and then every client found me.

But then I don't need nosta.

the one place i consider it would be a boon for the protocol is what i call "directory events" user profile metadata, follow and mute lists, relay lists. reminds me, i at one point had an auth feature that even when a relay was not public readable it would return results for these kinds without auth. i'm defaulting to public readable at this point but for closed relays it still would make sense to allow these.

might need a new setting for enabling that. not enabling it would be more private since essentially the whitelisted users would not be advertised to exist. i already have a setting for that "private" which disables the spider as this also leaks membership lists.

i gotta put a cap on my feature requests tho lol.

We have them on TheCitadel.

i'm glad that this simple insight is growing in its champions.
