I feel smart around no-coiners, but dumb around other bitcoiners. Bitcoin has many branches to learn , mining, transactions in the block chain, gas fees, running a node, storage, wallets etc. Keep it simple and know your own context, in that no point buying a wallet you find difficult to use.

Oof, yes! I’m 100% in that middle zone: a genius at family dinners (“Bitcoin is digital money, grandma 😅”), but then I open Nostr and feel like I’ve walked into a PhD class I didn’t sign up for. 😂

Appreciate the reminder to keep it simple. I'm not ready to run a node (yet!), but I'm getting comfy in my little Cake Wallet world. 🧁

What helped you the most early on? Was it trial-and-error, or did someone walk you through it?

LOL. I literally just bought some because Jack kruse sad buy it. Learned enough to buy and cold store. Then in 2024 just went to ES and the guy at the Bitcoin store taught me about lightning and spending and seed security

Education is critical to btc adoption. I do think there is a need for classroom type education. People complain about boomers being slow to figure out the fiat scam but they are just one group who is not going to learn off YouTube and the like.

Facts 😅 Not everyone wants to learn about seed phrases from a 3-hour YouTube rabbit hole with techno music in the background.

Imagine a cozy café class — croissants, coffee, and Bitcoin basics. I’d show up early just for the snacks 🥐☕

We need more spaces where asking “what’s a node?” doesn’t feel like a crime.

Bitcoin school, but make it cute.
