Strange, which phone do you use? Most phones i have tested take multiple languages. In theory that's how you should setup the phone if you are bilingual.
Option to disable is coming.

An old Xiaomi, maybe I'm trying with the wrong option, I'm doing it in the system language that changes the language of the whole phone, if I change it just becomes the new language for everything

I'm not complaining or anything I totally appreciate and love the work you do, I'm only trying to help with the only thing I can do right now (test and feedback).
